On Tuesday afternoon it was quite hot up in the bush. There is a creek running through the camp but it is not really that clean. However, it sure felt like it would be nice to cool off. We have several water barrels sitting outside our bathrooms . (We take buckets of water and flush the toilets with it since there is not running water up there. ) So a plan was formulated and it wasn't hard to find some people who wanted to take the plunge. Those barrels sure worked well in helping cool down some hot jungle campers. The kids had a great time beating the summer time heat. (And we were still able to use the water afterwards for flushing the toilets. )
