We have had some nice warm days in the bush but unfortunately we have experience some real cool days with very cold nights. On Monday night we could tell things were really cooling off. The picture of the thermometer was taken at about 11:30 p.m. I had several layres of clothes on and of course my nice warm wool socks! Vern also stoked the fire really good for us that night. As you can see in the picture there was an orange glow on our stove as it was really hot. It was a HUGE help in warming up our house enough to go to bed. Then we woke up at 1:15a.m. Tuesday morning and the air was pretty chilly. Vern went out and checked the thermometer again and it was 34 degrees F. (Which is about 1 C). Vern filled up the stove with wood again and once again it did take the chill out of the air for a few more hours. If you think of us up in the bush sleeping in our plastic houses, you could pray for some warmer nights. (smile)
