Every fall we get so many flies in the house especially upstairs. Therefore this morning I was trying to put some fly paper up in our bathroom. I started to pull the fly paper apart and about halfway through the little red loop that you hold to pull the paper out, ripped apart from the fly paper. So I thought, "No big deal, I will just use my hands to pull the rest of the fly paper from the roll." All I can say is that was NOT a very wise decision. Fly paper is REALLY sticky. I got the whole fly paper unrolled and then I tried to tape the top part back on so I would somehow be able to hang up this fly paper. My hands were so googy that I decided I needed to wipe my hands off with toilet paper first. (That was another REALLY bad idea.) My hands were so sticky from the fly paper that the toilet paper stuck to my hands and then I could not get the toilet paper off to proceed with my mission. I was able to some how tape the top back onto the fly paper so I could hang it on the ceiling. But as you see I also succeeded in getting the toilet paper from my hands onto the fly paper. I then went to wash off my hands which now had all this sticky stuff on them along with toilet paper. The only thing I have to say about the whole ordeal is I will NEVER touch fly paper again. I could not get that sticky stuff off with bar soap, liquid soap, Comet, or dish suds. I finally found a scrubby pad and after ten minutes of scrubbing and working on it, my hand felt some what normal. I just hope I will start seeing some flies on my fly paper so I can say that "The Attack by the Killer Flypaper" was worth it.

I'v been there and done that. All I have to say is when the red hook come off throw it away. :-)
I could have used that advice this morning. (smile) Now I know better.
well, I guess it could've been worse ;) Hope it solves your fly problem!
That is a riot!
