Ruth has had her driver's permit since January. And although she has been able to get behind the wheel and drive it has not worked out for her to take a driver's education course. Well, that has now changed and today she had her first "Young Drivers Class". The course here is 25 hours of classroom instruction and then 10 driving lessons. In the States many places offer it to teens free of charge. Unfortunately it is not like that here. Ruth is paying a nice chunk of money for the "Young Driver's" course. However, it does end up making our insurance a lot cheaper once she gets her full driver's license.
