Here in Ontario it is a holiday called "Family Day". I think this is only the second year. The province felt like everyone could use a holiday in the middle of winter. So how has our family spent the day? It was of course a very quiet house this morning as we all enjoyed sleeping in and not having to get up so early. However, the main event of the day was to make some more sausage. As I sit here writing fresh buns just came out of the oven and I have a pan of smoked sausage baking. (YUM!) We have smoked about 25 pounds of sausage so we will enjoy many meals of the smokey goodness.

Wish I could have been there:) At least for the farmer sausage and buns:) (Josie's sister and brother in law)
how fun!!! And the sausage and fresh rolls sounds soo good!!! MMMMM!
Mmmmm! Wish I was there too! Those sausages look great! I kept trying to convince Shane and Alan to build one in Alan's back yard there in Palu, Sulawesi... but there were too many other 'to do' things on the 'to do' list. :) Nice smile, Ruth. :) Loved the napping family pics too. :)
