I just got back from the airport a few minutes ago. I checked in and Vern's flight has taken off. This time he was able to get a direct flight so that is very nice. He will be arrived quite late and will leave early tomorrow morning for the next leg of his journey. Please be praying for safety as he travels. Thanks!

A TASTE OF VENEZUELA
There are so many neat things about living in another country and culture. Vern was able to bring us a few treats back from Venezuela. It is a little taste of "home".
Vern is holding up what is called a "cuatro". It is a four stringed instrument. It is only made in Venezuela. And I believe Caleb is wanting to get his hands on it since he has a love and passion for music.
Seth and Titus are thrilled with their knives that their dad brought back for them. This is a very typical thing for anyone growing up in the "llanos" to wear and carry with them every where. Our boys are not "jungle bunnies" but they are "llaneros".

Venezuela!!!
First thing this morning I left with Vern to drop him off at the Toronto airport for his trip down to Venezuela. He will be gone 25 days and will be spending the majority of his time with some of the church leaders and their families. Please pray for him as he travels. Also pray that the time together with the Pume is encouraging and refreshing as they spend a lot of time fellowshipping over the Word and as they "do life" together these weeks.
