Vern, Ruth, and I have been enjoying working in our yard the last couple spring and summers. We never got into planting flowers in Venezuela as we would get no rain for months in our dry season. It always seemed like so much work to keep things alive. In the fall a friend helped me plant a bunch of tulips. It has been so much fun to see them start to grow and then bloom. It has added a lot of color to our yard.
