Four of our children sleep with fans on all night as they need the noise. However, last nights thing warmed up enough that we actually needed a fan to cool down. Just a couple days ago it snowed and we know we could very easily get more snow still, but we are really enjoying the warmer weather. It sure is a nice break after the long winter.
Things have warmed up here a little bit and a lot of our snow is melting. That is some thing to be happy about. Unfortunately all our roads and path ways here on the campus are a sheet of ice. It was a death trap out there today when you walked anywhere. I wished I had some spikes in my shoes to help fight against the slick conditions.
Last night there was a Cold Weather Warning over our way. Temperatures have really dipped down. This morning our thermometer read -27 C outside. Although many places on the Canadian Prairies are experiencing temperature much colder, it is plenty cold for me. I think back to all those times in Venezuela when I was so hot and just wished for colder weather, I take it all back. I would love nothing better then a Venezuelan heat wave to pass through and warm things up for us.
