We have visited Vanderhoof many times and I have never met so many people that quilted as in Vanderhoof. I feel like it is the Quilting Capital of Canada. (smile) My good friend Helen owns a quilting store where many of her quilts are on display. Another friend has a couple of pretty cool quilting machines. I had never seen anything like it before. The quilting machines are hooked up to computers and there are all sorts of patterns you can pick. In a number of hours Darlene and her nifty quilting machine are able to quilt a quilt with gorgeous quilting patterns and it would normally take many, many hours to quilt by hand. So all you quilters out there, next time you are in B,.C. you will have to come to Vanderhoof to visit the “Quilting Capital of
