Today is another very special day in our family as it is Caleb's birthday. It was a very exciting day as Caleb had us waiting for his entrance into this world. I was 15 days late and was wondering if the day would ever come. There were a few complications, and so it was a bit of a rough start but our journey had begun. Caleb, you made it easy of us as new parents as you started sleeping through the night at six weeks and you were such a happy baby. However, you did also bring us to our knees when you were six and we found out that you had a fairly serious heart condition. Those were sure scary days for us as we prayed like never before that God would give you many more years on this earth. Here you are now celebrating your 24th birthday. (Thank-you God!) We will never be rich in this world but God has given us such riches in our children. We love you Caleb and pray for you daily that you will continue to pursue all God has for you. May you be 100% sold out for God, have a heart for the lost, and show love and passion to everyone you meet. Continue to make a difference in this world for Christ! Now that you have held you own precious child in your arms you know all about the love and joy that parenthood brings, and how you want God's very best for her; just like we do for you.
