We have such an awesome job of meeting so many dear people who have a heart to serve the Lord on the mission field. The Claussens are a family that we grew to love like our own children. While they were here in the training we had them in our home a lot and made many special memories together. It is always hard to say good-bye to our students at graduation since we never know if we will meet here on this earth again. However, it is always exciting to see families moving out to serve the Lord on the mission field. Yesterday we had the great joy and privilege to be a part of Andrew, Amberlynne, and Chase Claussen's commissioning service at their sending church. (I did make use of the box of Kleenex several times during the service and it was a tearful good-bye.) The Clausens are heading to Indonesia and desire to work in a tribal ministry. Please be praying for their visa's to soon be granted. Also pray for them these last weeks before they head off to Indonesia. As you can imagine it will not be easy to say good-bye to their family and friends and there will be a lot of adjustments ahead of them. Also pray for their parents as it will not be easy for them to say good-bye not only to Andrew and Amberlynne but also to their precious little grandson Chase.
